Mobile Asset Manager provides the Data Center user a simplified interface to perform data center changes, inventory reconciliations and audits. It is designed to work on smart devices, iOS, Android and Windows and interfaces with support for all standard bar code and QR code scanners connected via USB or Bluetooth.
The solution drives the user through their tasks, highlighting all the IMAC changes to be made and the verifications that are necessary to ensure the correct changes are made. The changes can be driven in real-time through the VDC Project Wizard and Work Order Manager by the Change Management team, clearly indicating the devices and cables (fibre, copper and power) to be modified. The use can also makes changes to the position of equipment, install additional equipment and change cabling.
This Mobile Asset Manager enables the continuous auditing of the data center to ensure that the information contained in VDC is always up to date.
